A man died after he was struck by a monorail July 30 in Seattle, police said. Seattle Police Department A man was spray-painting graffiti when he was struck and killed by a monorail in Washington, police said. The man was found at about 9 p.m. Sunday, July 30, in the South Lake Union neighborhood, the Seattle Police Department said in a news release. Police said they reviewed surveillance footage that captured the man climbing onto a building near Seattle Center Monorail tracks. He spray-painted the wall with graffiti and then was struck by the monorail, police said.
